Hoy No Circula Restrictions on February 15, 2025

On the third Saturday of February in Mexico City and some municipalities in the State of Mexico, the Hoy No Circula program is applied. On this occasion, Saturday, February 15, 2025, vehicles with license plates ending in an odd number, namely 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9, that have hologram 1 will not be allowed to circulate. Additionally, vehicles with hologram 2 are restricted, as well as foreign vehicles with foreign plates, during the hours of 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

The Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis confirmed that there will be no double Hoy No Circula due to contingency this Saturday, as air quality was good the previous day. However, poor air quality is reported in some areas such as Álvaro Obregón, Coyoacán, Cuajimalpa, Iztacalco, and Iztapalapa, as well as in municipalities like Atizapán, Tlalnepantla, and Tultitlán.

For this Saturday, February 15, electric and hybrid cars will be allowed to circulate, as well as vehicles with ecological plates or exempt hologram type, those for personal use by health personnel, ambulances, school transportation, and personnel, funeral processions, vehicles for people with disabilities, among others that meet the exceptions established by the program.

The objective of the Hoy No Circula program is to reduce pollution in the city, so it is recommended to respect the rules and leave the car at home, especially if it does not fall into the mentioned exceptions. Vehicles with double hologram 00 and 0 are allowed to circulate every day of the week, including Saturdays.
